The 2008 Blue Mountains City Council elections are vitally important to Mountains residents.

This is not an election that people can afford to sit out or ignore because the challenges facing us are more complex and more important than ever before. We face a time of great change in the Mountains and it is vital that we come together to work through the challenges that face our communities.

It’s time to challenge the status quo and to start designing the communities and villages that we want and need. It’s time for the voice of the community to be listened to and respected and it’s time for Councillors to reconnect with the communities they represent.

I am standing for Council because I believe we can do better.
