I love our Mountains villages. Each village has its unique character and special charms.
We need to protect our village lifestyle. It is what has drawn many people to live in the Mountains, it is a major attraction for tourists and it complements our wonderful
Our village lifestyle is under threat. Threat from a lack of vision & planning, over development and poor infrastructure.
If elected to Council, I will work to:
- Protect and maintain our unique Mountains lifestyle.
- Renew and revitalise villages in consultation with local residents and business owners.
- Progress the development of a cycle rail trail to enable sustainable, inter village transport.
- Ensure that we have individual village plans that seriously consider the needs and interests of local businesses and residents.

I completely support Janet’s approach to the sustainable community. We need action NOW and not in 20 years time. The Blue Mountains Cycle Trail has been 25 years in the waiting!!!!What have we got for the lack of effort - obesity epidemic, diabetes epidemic, mental health issues, economic disadvantage and a disenfrachised community.
