“The best way to learn about and understand local issues is to talk to people on their home patch”.

With this in mind, this week I commenced doorknocking in Leura. I intend to doorknock throughout Ward 1 from now until the September BMCC elections. The response that I received was positive and many people commented on the fact that they have never before been doorknocked by a current or potential Councillor!

I learnt a lot from those that I spoke to about important local issues and thank everyone for their pleasant reception.

I’ll be doorknocking every Friday and Saturday and look forward to meeting you!
