Councillors are elected representatives. They are elected by the community and must fairly and responsibly represent the views of the community that has elected them.

The actions of Council and our Councillors must be transparent and fully accountable to the community.

If elected to Council, I will:

• operate in an open and transparent manner.
• ensure that the community is consulted on all major projects and community issues.
• advocate for the regular communication of Council’s fiscal position to ratepayers.
• champion open ballot mayoral elections.
• host regular “town hall” meetings to enable the community to share their views on a range of issues.
